Organic pigments do not exist naturally and are a type of synthesized inorganic pigment. In other words, we can say that mineral pigments exist in nature, but organic pigments are produced through chemical processes. Today, the number of organic pigments is much more than inorganic pigments and they are used in plastic, rubber, ink, coating colors, etc.

Most organic pigments are organic chemicals that are deposited on the aluminum hydroxide mineral core. These pigments are called varnish. One of the most important pigments is the phthalocyanine group, which includes the spectrum of blue and green colors, and copper phthalocyanine is a blue pigment that is considered a valuable pigment due to its good resistance to various factors.

Comparison of organic pigments and inorganic pigments:

Bright and bright: organic pigments are bright and mineral pigments are dull.

Durability and stability: Mineral pigments are more stable. Organic pigments withstand up to 300 degrees Celsius.

Transparency: organic pigments are transparent and mineral pigments are opaque.

Light resistance: The light resistance of organic pigments varies from weak to strong, and mineral pigments are good.
