Nilgoon rangdane, a knowledge-based company, was founded in 2015 (1394 in the Iranian calendar) by a group of academic and industrial elites. The group began its activities with a mission to invest in and develop businesses in the downstream petrochemical industries and has since developed and introduced several knowledge-based products.
Building on years of experience, creativity, and innovation of its management and technical team, Nilgoon Pigment Co. was officially established in 2018 (1397) with the goal of producing nano copper phthalocyanine organic pigments, becoming the first manufacturer of this product in Western Asia.
Across its various departments, Nilgoon Pigment employs young and experienced experts and graduates from the country’s top academic institutions, all dedicated to the continuous development and enhancement of product quality.

Pigments are commonly used in a range of industries including but not limited to metal and wooden covers, buildings, and automobiles. Using pigments, it is possible to prevent chemical reactions resulting from humidity or climate change. In the production of colour masterbatches, pigment is also used in such a way that it is poured with polymer resin into the double spiral granulation machine and mixed together.
Colourants are often divided into two main categories: dyes and pigments. Dyes could be easily applied to an object using a brush while pigments need to be mixed with other compounds first. These pigments will not dissolve in water and must be mixed with their appropriate and compatible solvent.
